Lapid may COVID

MANILA, Philippines – Kinumpirma ng ni Atty. Jericho U. Acedera na nagpositibo sa Coronavirus Disease 2019 si Senador Manuel “Lito” Lapid matapos magpositibo ang RT-PCR test sa kanya.

Base sa paunang pahayag ng tanggapan ni Lapid, sinabi ni Acedera na kasalukuyang ginagamot ang mambabatas sa Medical City Clark matapos ikonsider ng mga doktor na  pawang mild to moderate ang kanyang kaso.

“We wish to confirm that unfortunately, Pinuno tested positive in his COVID 19 RT-PCR test. He is currently undergoing treatment at the Medical City Clark where his doctors consider his case as mild to moderate,” ayon kay Acedera.

Dahil dito, hiniling ni Acedera sa lahat ng taong nakasalamuha o nakipagkontak kay Lapid na sundin ang Covid-19 protocol at pagsuri kaagad sa pinakamalapit na  pagamutan.

“All of those who have come in close contact with him already took the necessary tests and have been instructed to comply with the existing COVID-19 protocols,” ayon kay Acedera.

“As this happened when the Senate is not holding sessions, no member of our staff have been considerably exposed except for his personal and close-in employees who have tested negative in their antigen tests and currently exhibit no symptoms,” ayon pa sa abogado.

Tiniyak naman ni Acedera  na iuulat sa mamamayan ang paggaling ng senador kung kinakailangang at kapag nakakuha ng health bulletin mula sa kanyang mga manggagamot.
