EDSA Ortigas flyover-southbound sarado sa mga motorista sa April 6-10

MANILA, Philippines- Isasara ang tatlong lane ng EDSA Ortigas flyover southbound sa Mandaluyong City mula April 6 hanggang 10 para sa rehabilitation works, ayon sa Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

Sinabi ng DPWH na bahagi ito ng early preventive maintenance sa national bridges at mga daan sa Metro Manila para maiwasan na rin ang anumang insidente.

“Maximizing the advantage of less motorists traversing the area during the Holy Week, the rehabilitation works will involve major repairs on the southbound portion of the flyover to rectify the damages observed in its expansion joints, while its northbound portion remains passable,” pahayag ng DPWH-National Capital Region.

Magbibigay ang rehabilitasyon ng flyover, na kumokonekta sa C-5 Road at Ortigas Avenue, ng “improved riding surface,” base sa DPWH.

Mapalalakas din umano nito ang structural integrity ng tulay, batay sa ahensya.

Inabisuhan naman ng DPWH ang mga motorista na dumaan sa alternate routes para maiwasan ang mabigat na daloy ng trapiko.

“The DPWH-National Capital Region pledged that the flyover will be opened to traffic once the rectified lanes are fully cured on April 10, 2023, to avoid heavy traffic during the return of offices,” anito. RNT/SA
