Bise Presidente ng US sasalubungin sa Palawan – PCG

MANILA, Philippines – Sasalubungin ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) si United States (U.S.) Vice President Kamala Harris sakay ng BRP Teresa Magbanua (MRRV-9701) sa Puerto Princesa, Palawan sa Martes, Nobyembre 22.

Sinabi ni PCG Spokesperson, CG Commodore Armando Balilo, na magkakaroon ng briefing kay U.S. Vice President Harris sa kasalukuyang maritime operations ng coast guard sa Palawan.

Ito ay gagawin matapos ang paglilibot sa isa sa dalawang malaking barko ng PCG.

“Aside from Coast Guard officers, officials from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Philippine National Police (PNP), Department of Transportation (DOTr), and local government units (LGUs) will board BRP Teresa Magbanua (MRRV-9701) to listen to the Vice President’s address,” saad ni Balilo.

Pangungunahan naman nina PCG Deputy Commandant for Operations, CG Vice Admiral Rolando Lizor Punzalan Jr, PCG District Palawan Commander, CG Captain Christopher Meniado, at BRP Teresa Magbanua (MRRV-9701)’s Skipper, CG Commander Erwin Tolentino, ang pagbuo ng welcoming party para sa Bise Presidente ng Estados Unidos.
