Negative COVID-19 test ng 2022 election candidates dapat iprisinta sa paghain ng COC

MANILA, Philippines – Kailangang magprisinta ng negatibong resulta ng coronavirus disease (COVID-19) test ang mga kandidatong maghahain ng certificates of candidacy sa Oktubre 1 hanggang 8.

Ang negatibong COVID-19 test result ay dapat nakuha 24 oras bago maghain ng COC.

Kasama rito ang mga kasama ng kandidato, Comelec personnel, security personnel, military at police officials, pati na ang media.

“Pursuant to the guidelines issued by the national government, these measures should be observed at all times in the filing of COC or CONA,” nakasaad sa Comelec Resolution 10717.

Sagot naman ng Comelec ang COVID test ng:

• aspirants (candidates) who do not intend to spend or cannot afford antigen testing,

• Comelec personnel from its law department and Comelec clerk in charge of receiving COC and CONA,

• personnel of the Comelec chairman and Comelec commissioners,

• personnel of the Comelec Office of the Deputy Executive Director for Administration (ODEDA)

• Comelec’s Events Committee

• Comelec’s Administrative Services Department

• Comelec’s Education and Information Department Oversight Personnel, and

• police/military personnel
