Yang, Lao, kumpanyang konektado sa Pharmally ‘di naghain ng ITR ng ilang taon – Drilon

MANILA, Philippines – Hindi naghain income tax return (ITR) ng ilang taon ang Chinese businessman na si Michael Yang, dating procurement chief Lloyd Christopher Lao at ilang kompanyang kunektado sa Pharmally Pharmaceutical Corp.

Ito ang sinabi ni Senador Franklin Drilon ngayong Huwebes, Oktubre 28 sa ipinakitang dokumento kasabay ng pagdinig ng Senate blue ribbon committee.

Kabilang sa mga ipinakita ni Drilon na dokumento ay ang certification mula sa Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) na hindi nagpasa ng ITR si Yang, na siyang nagbigay ng pinansyal na tulong sa Pharmally para makapagsuplay ng order sa pamahalaan.

“Mr. Michael Yang, interesting. The income tax returns for taxable years 2017 and prior years were not filed. No income tax return filed, based on the verification made by the District’s Collection Section, and the income tax returns for 2014 to 2017 could not be found in the records of the BIR,” ani Drilon.

“In 2018, the taxable income of Mr. Yang was at P208,000 and the taxes paid in 2018 was P7,600. In 2019 and 2020, we’re sorry but the records are not readable, dagdag pa niya.

Matatandaan na dati ring economic adviser ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte si Yang.

Ipinakita rin ng Senador ang isa pang BIR certification naman ni Lao hindi rin naghain ng ITR nitong 2020.

“In 2017, he did not earn any taxable income and therefore paid zero taxes. In 2018, the income tax returns were filed through the e-BIR forms online facility, but these could not be viewed by the BIR. In 2020, he did not file an income tax return,” paglalahad ni Drilon.

Kabilang rin sa mga nasilip ni Drilon na kompanyang konektado sa Pharmally na hindi naghain ng ITR ay ang Greentrends Trading International Inc. at Xuzhou Constructions Machinery Group. RNT
