Pres, VP candidates, ‘di placeholder sa 2022 elections – Lakas-CMD

MANILA, Philippines – Itinanggi ng partidong Lakas-CMD na  placeholders lang ang kanilang kandidatong naghain ng Certificate of Candidacy sa Pangulo at Bise Presidente.

Ang paglilinaw ay ginawa ni Lakas-CMD secretary general at Surigao del Sur Representative Prospero Pichay Jr, aniya, misquoted siya ng media at ang kanyang sinabi ay bukas sila sa negosasyon sa ibang kandidato.

“I never mentioned anything about placeholders. The media can sometimes interpret wrongly what I say. I never even thought about placeholders. I did not say that (placeholders), I said we have a presidential candidate but we can still negotiate with other presidential candidates. In effect, I’m saying we put up a candidate, but if there are other candidates whose ratings are high, then we can consider them,” paglilinaw niya pa.

Una nang sinabi ni Pichay na bukas ang Lakas-CMD para kay  Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte bilang  standard bearer ng partido sa eleksyon kung magdesisyon na tumakbo. RNT
