Watchlist order vs. Michael Yang target ng Senate panel

Manila, Philippines – Target ng Senate blue ribbon committee na ilagay sa watchlist order ng Bureau of Immigration (BI) si Chinese businessman at dating presidential economic adviser Michael Yang.

Ito ay kaugnay ng bigong pagdalo ni Yang sa Senate inquiry ngayong Lunes.

Ayon sa abogado nitong si Atty. Raymond Fortun, tumaas ang blood pressure ni Yang.

Sinabi pa na pinayo ng doktor nitong si Dr. Jenny Adtoon na magpahinga ng limang araw dahil sa hypertensive urgency.

Dahil dito, inilatag ni Senator Risa Hontiveros na maghain ng departure order laban kay Yang.

“We will have to discuss that at another time. I have no qualms to request the court to do that,” tugon ni Senator Richard Gordon.

“Just on that point, may we then suggest that we request the Bureau of Immigration through DOJ (Department of Justice) to issue a watch order so that if a witness who tried to leave we will be… the blue ribbon committee will be notified immediately,” mungkahi naman ni Senate Minority Leader Franklin Drilon.
