Higit 50% ng tourism workers bakunado na – Puyat

MANILA, Philippines – Higit 50 porsyento ng tourism workers ang bakunado na laban sa COVID-19, ayon sa Department of Tourism (DOT).

Sinabi ni Tourism Secretary Berna Romulo-Puyat na nasa 126,097 o 51.40 percent ng 245,338 tourism workers ang kumpletong bakunado na.

“Vaccinating our tourism workers is the only way we can continue to sustain the recovery of domestic tourism, especially with the presence of a new virus variant,” ani Puyat.

“As we work to secure more vaccine doses that will help us achieve a 100 percent vaccination rate among tourism workers in the A1 and A4 priority groups, I am also encouraging our workers to submit themselves for vaccination especially with the presence of the Delta variant,” dagdag pa ng tourism chief.

Ang tourism front liners ay nakapasailalim sa A1 priority group partikular ang mga nagtatrabaho sa accommodation establishments na pansamantalang ginagamit na quarantine hotels o isolation facilities, habang nakasailalim sa A4 category ang ilang empleyado ng tourism enterprises at tourism support services.
