4 online lending app tinanggal ng google sa privacy risks — NPC

Manila, Philippines – Tinanggal na ng Google Play Store ang online lending apps (OLAs) na JuanHand, Pesopop, CashJeep at Lemon Loan  dahil sa “privacy risks” sa mga nag-download ng application, ayon kay National Privacy Commission (NPC).

Sa pahayag, pinaputihan ni Privacy Commissioner Raymund Liboro ang naturang hakbang at hinikayat din ang OLAs na sumunod sa batas sa pagproseso ng data loans ng mga aplikante.

“For other OLAs, the NPC strongly urges you to employ know-your-customer (KYC) and debt collection practices that are aligned with NPC Circular No. 20-01, where we laid out guidelines on the processing of personal data for loan-related transactions.” RNT/FGDC
