PRRD nagpasalamat sa China sa donasyong Sinopharm vaccine

MANILA – Winelcome ni Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte ang pagdating sa bansa ng karagdagang isang milyong doses ng Covid-19 vaccines mula Sinopharm na dinonate ng People’s republic of China.

“We are receiving these life-saving vaccines with much gratitude and high hopes as we continue our fight against Covid-19 and its variants,” ayon kay Pangulong Duterte.

Labis namang nagpasalamat ang Pangulo sa China para sa iba’t ibang Covid-19 assistance na ipinaabot nito sa nakalipas na taon kabilang na ang donasyon ng pangunahing medical supplies at equipment at ang probisyon sa technical support ng Covid-19 response.

“These initiatives are indeed a testament of the goodwill of the Chinese government and the deep strong relations between the Philippines and China,” ani Pangulong Duterte.

“These additional doses will definitely boost our efforts tor amp up our vaccination rollout and allow us to achieve herd immunity soon,” dagdag na pahayag ng Pangulo.

Magkagayon man, hindi aniya dapat kalimutan na depende pa rin sa bawat isa na tapusin na ang pandemiya.

Gagana lamang aniya ang bakuna kapag itinurok ito sa isang indibiduwal.

Kaya nga, hinikayat ng Punong Ehekutibo ang lahat ng mga Filipino na magpabakuna sa oras na makatanggap na ng kanilang iskedyul.

“Do not waste precious time as every single day is a risk for you and your loved ones,” ayon sa Pangulo.

Sa kabilang dako, pinasalamatan naman ni Pangulong Duterte ang mga Filipino frontliners dito sa bansa at sa ibang bansa para sa sakripisyo nito nang magsimula ang pandemiya.

“We are truly grateful for your selflessness in caring for the sick during these challenging times,” ani Pangulong Duterte.

“Be assured that we in government will do our best to protect and incentivize you to your hard work. We will always be by your side, ready to help in any way we can,” dagdag na pahayag ng Punong Ehekutibo.

Pinasalamatan naman ni Pangulong Duterte si vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr, ang Inter-Agency Task Force of the Emerging Infectious Diseases and the Department of Health, at ang Department of Foreign Affairs para sa kanilang institutional partners para masiguro ang tuloy-tuloy na vaccine supply sa bansa.

“I enjoin these agencies to ensure the safe and effective distribution and rollout of these vaccines amidst the spread of Covid-19 variants,” aniya pa rin.

At habang patuloy aniya na binabakunahan ang populasyon, hinikayat naman ng Punong Ehekutibo ang publiko na sundin ang minimum public health standards kahit pa bakunado na.

Dapat pa rin aniyang tandaan na magsuot ng face masks, maghugas ng kamay, i-obserba ang social distancing, at kung maaari ay manatili na lamang sa bahay.

Hindi aniya dapat na maging kampante lalo na ngayon at mayroong presensiya ng delta variant.

“As we President, I assure that we are exerting all efforts and will continue to use available resources to end this pandemic,” ayon sa Pangulo.

“Join us in our collaborative action in beating this pandemic through vaccination and the strict observance of health protocols,” dagdag na pahayag nito.

Sa suporta aniya ng mga ito, kumbinsido siya na makikita rin ng lahat ang “better and brighter days ahead and emerge stronger as one nation.”

“Before I end, may I request His Excellency Ambassador Huang Xilian to convey to President Xi Jinping my deepest gratitude and many, many thanks for China’s attitude to us. That even though in these challenging times of geopolitics, Philippines will stay neutral and remain true to what we have guaranteed China at least during my term.
