MANILA – The planned casinos in Boracay are expected to attract high-end tourists and players and generate thousands of jobs when they open, the country’s gaming regulator said on Monday.

Manila, Philippines – Sinabi ng Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp (PAGCOR) na makahihikayat ng maraming turista at magbibigay ng libu-libong trabaho ang planong casino sa Boracay ng Alliance Global Group Inc, at Macau’s Galaxy Group.

“If you saw the development in these two areas, you would imagine that they are really really maybe a hundred times better than the small little little stalls that actually overcrowd the main island right after the beaches,” ani PAGCOR chair Andrea Domingo.

Inaasahan aniyang magdadala ito ng 2,500 hanggang 3,000 dayuhang turista sa loob ng isang linggo at makapagbibigay ng nasa 10,000 trabaho.

Paliwanag pa ng opisyal, irerespeto ng casino operators ang lahat ng environmental laws partikular na ang pagkakaroon ng garbage ruin sa lugar.
